Co to jest?

Właśnie przypomniałem sobie, że kiedyś ktoś gdzieś w interneciie widziałem holdfasty wykonane z gałęzi.
Przy moim braku doświadczenia w pracy z metalem może to być jakaś opcja :) Choć wspomnianą korbę od studni już przeciąłem w pół i mam dwa prawie-holdfasty (tj. pręty zagięte na razie pod kątem 90 stopni).

I started out trying to evaluate different species so I collected some hazel, ash, rhododendron, boxwood, elm and a few other things that I don't remember the name of at the time of writing.
After drying 3 weeks I couldn't tell a difference in clutching strength, nor in how well they hold up. I have yet to break one but they work as intended, they help to hold the work as one needs both hands to work.
I'm yet to evaluate different shapes of the holding point but I have experimented with the thickness to allow for more spring but that seems to weaken the branch a bit.
I am never using metal holdfasts again.
