Hi all, after reading reviews here of Airpress 16, I risked investing in Airpress 22 1600 (MT3, 750W S2 (30 min) ). New for  1439 PLN on aledrogo (which turned out not to be so drogo at all this time).  Here then are my youtube reviews of unboxing, build and test.
Summary - it drills oak like a dream, if you have time to fix its problems its well worth the money in my opinion.

Rdza robi wrażenie. Wajcha od pinoli i korba od stolika z aluminium. @KolA wspominał, że u niego jeszcze żeliwo w tym pierwszym. U mnie też aluminium było. Lepsze czasy już nie wrócą.

Wtedy stołu nie obróci na bok tylko pozostaje jego odkręcenie.

U mnie w 16-980 nie, trzyma się na dwóch obejmach góra/dół ale listwa w nich jest ruchoma.

Gościu przerobił, bo mu się odginała bodajże kiedy blokował pierścieniem i stolik nie chciał chodzić albo latał jak było za luźno. W dm7016 też mam na śrubach, ale stół jest zintegrowany z podstawą.

Yes, exactly. The rack bends, so the table falls (or is too tight). I added screws. Its not designed that way.

Heres a bit of work I used the airpress for this weekend. This is a leg from an old ikea table I had in the workshop.

Some comments on the tool:
1. Lasers (leds) do not switch off by themselves which means you leave them on and the battery runs down
2. I still cant get the table to move up and down without it moving side to side (not good if you want to drill a deep hole and leave the forstner bit in the hole while you move the table) - this is why you do not want a seperate rack and column.
3. It went through this dry pine very quickly but in tests the 750W motor can stall.
4. The view guard is just annoying. Dust sticks to it and you cant see well, it also gets in the way of the depth guage. Its just bad design.

Overall ... 7/10, great value for money but maybe just spending a few extra lira on the design would make this a great hobby drill.

That is why I don't use it in my drill press.
